Who am I??

I'm Karl Herschel B. Lavisto i'm 18 years old,I was bron in Makati ,Metro Manila on December 7,1992. My parents is proud since i'm their first son,i was fully supported by my parents since i was child.

Since i was young my releatives give me material things. but i'm a person who likes to explore new thing and i think something one thing that i know. I'm a shy person but sometimes a attention grabber.Me as a teenager i was searching something that i never know.I want to talk people who have other side of characteristics and their experience when i heared many stories or their lives i'm so inspired because you will learn from your past experiences.

Leadership 101

Leadership is important in all aspects of life

My book is all about leadership because leadership is important in all aspects of life. I believe that the greater the leadership, the greater effectiveness. The leadership ability that you have is important to us because you will know if you doing better or worst to the potential impact of your company in the future. In this book I learn a lot of lessons from the two young brothers named Dick and Maurice they moved from New Hampshire to California. They saw few opportunities back home. So they headed to Hollywood to find a better job they eventually found jobs on a movie studio set.

After a while, their entrepreneurial spirit and interpret is done at once in the entertainment industry. So they open a theater in Glendale, a town in northeast of Hollywood.
But despite all their efforts they couldn’t make the business profitable, so they looked for a better and strong business opportunity.

In 1937 Dick and Maurice opened a small drive-in restaurant located at Pasadena, Glendale. Many people in southern California are in cars time because the customers are ordering and receive their food an tray right in their cars in the parking lot.

In 1940, Dick and Maurice’s tiny drive-in restaurant was successful and in 1930 their operations was moved in San Bernardino working-class town east of Los Angeles. They build a larger facility and expanded their menu from hot dogs, fries, and shakes to include barbecues beef, sandwiches, hamburger and the other items. Their business exploded. Their reached 200,000 in dollars and the two brothers in splitting 50,000 Us dollars in profits every year.

In 1948, they change the concept of their restaurant business because time is changing. From carhop to walk-up customers. They reduced their menu and focused on selling burgers. They reduced their cost and the prices they changed customers. Dick and Maurice created a system also called as the “Speedy Service System”. Where their kitchen is like a assembly line, where their employees focused on service with speed. Their goal is to fill each customer’s order in thirty seconds or less. And they become successful on their system. In the mid-1950’s their annual revenue hit 350,000 Us Dollars and by then, Dick and Maurice split their profits about 100,000 Us Dollars each year.

Dick and Maurice are the owners of McDonald’s. The McDonalds never went any farther because their weak leadership put a cover their ability to succeed. The McDonald brothers were financially secure and they are the most profitable restaurant in the US.
McDonald’s is the genius in customer service and kitchen organization which they cover a new system of food and beverage service

The McDonald Brothers has planned to open another restaurant they tried it in 1952 but they failed because they lacked the leadership necessary to make it effective. Dick and Maurice were good restaurant owners. They understood how to run a business and knows the essentials in the business industry but they are not leaders.

In 1954, the brothers partners a person with leadership named Ray Kroc is running a small company which sold making milkshakes. Kroc deal with Dick and Maurice in 1955. Then Ray Kroc formed the McDonald’s System, Inc.(later called the McDonald’s Corporation).
Then he began to make assemble team and build an organization to make McDonald’s a nationwide entity. Kroc has sacrificed a lot and he worked long hours. Kroc on his first eight years has no salary. His sacrifice and his leadership paid off.

In 1961, he earned 2.7 million Dollars and bought the rights to McDonald’s from the brothers. Dick and Maurice McDonald franchise their food service system they managed 10 restaurants only.
Between 1955 and 1959 Kroc succeeded in opening 100 restaurants. After that in four years there were 500 McDonald’s. Today the company has 31,000 restaurant in 119 countries.
Success without leadership ability brings only limited effectiveness. If you want to climb, you need more leadership and you will be influence by the people by making a good impact.
Success without leadership. The leadership is strong, the limit is high. When organization is in trouble we need a new leadership.
This book has a great moral lesson to us because leadership is a strong power for the business world, we need to learn new from the experiences that we have.

Comment:
                The Author wants we to know all we as a leader to my community and also to the society as well. This book describes now a man or woman (is) to be responsible and a role model to each and everyone surrounds him/her. Being a person each pg is has a responsibility to take. Each responsibility gives us experience how to deal with it and that what makes us a Leader in our own ways. This book as the reader describes it, it contains necessary pointers and guide on how to be come a leader. A leader should know the responsibility he/she has on his/her surrounding. A leader should know his/her responsibilities. A leader should be one of the people and has a balance treatment to others. A leader should know himself/herself in order to become a good role model to everyone surrounds him/her. We can’t be leader if we are unbalance to once kind. A leader should be wise and strong and stands on  his/her decisions. People will respect a leader if he/she respects his/her people. A Leader should not be afraid to ask questions and what his/her people wants to say. A leader should be understanding and aware to his/her surroundings. A leader should be strong on his/her will and never back down and leave his/her responsibilities behind.
                Why do we have to become a leader when a leader has too many responsibilities and duties to his/her surroundings? Why do we need a leader or do we really need a leader when we can be a leader ourselves? Being a leader is being responsible of his responsibilities. We can be a leader if we are ready for such responsibilities of others. Responsibilities are taken and must be done. A leader is already a responsibility if others responsibilities. Why do we need a leader if we can be a leader in our own selves? If we are to be a leader, we have to ask ourselves first if we are really deserve to be a leader. Ask yourself first if you are ready to be a leader. If we can be a leader why do we have to ask help from others if we have problems. Asking other’s help is not a bad thing to do. But being a leader we must have a mature prespective towards our future. Now, do we need a leader or not? We need a leader because each and everyone of us have already responsibility that we need to do. A leader is the one standing in front of us to give support to everything what we have to do to our responsibilities. A leader gives good advise to a certain responsibility that we have. A leader is the protecting of all the mistake the his/her people done and do things that will make right.
